The site is located within Gateshead town centre which is situated to the south of the River Tyne, within walking distance to Gateshead Quays.

Gateshead benefits from excellent access to both vehicles via the A167 and public transport with a Tyne and Wear Metro station and also a Nexus bus hub located within the town centre a short walk from the site.

Newcastle City Centre is located approximately 1.3 miles to the north and is easily accessible on foot, via public transport or vehicle.

Newcastle Central Station also provides links nationally with various direct services running daily. There is a direct service which runs every half hour on weekdays to London with a travel time of approximately 3 hours.

Old Town Hall Quarter is situated directly off West Street within Gateshead town centre, immediately north of the new Trinity Square development which has brought a mix of further residential, leisure and retail use to the area. As the site is located within close proximity of the Tyne Bridge there are main roads to the north, east and west of the site which provide access into and out of Gateshead.
